St. John's College Internship Funding 2026
Opens Jan 8 2026 10:00 AM (MST)
Deadline Mar 3 2026 09:59 PM (MST)
Description

In today’s competitive environment, internships have become important experiences for many students. The St. John’s College Internship Funding Program provides you with an opportunity to acquire professional experience during the summers of your college years. You can expand your skills, explore your talents, and learn about the realities of career fields in which you may like to work.

You may apply for established internships or develop your own with an organization willing to mentor you in your area of interest. The internship should be relevant to your career aspirations, post-graduate plans, and/or personal interests—the stronger the connection, the more compelling the case.

Details:

  • You must be on the Annapolis campus during the full academic year immediately preceding the internship
  • You must return to either the Annapolis or Santa Fe campus in the fall immediately following the internship, unless you have graduated.
  • The maximum stipend through the SJC Internship Funding Program is $5,100 for a minimum of 320 hours of work.
    • The committee may supplement the stipends of paid internships if the stipend offered by the organization is less than $5,100. The supplement would add to the stipend offered and together would not exceed a total of $5,100. For example, if the organization is offering a stipend of $2,000, the stipend supplement would be no more than an additional $3,100 for a total of $5,100.
    • You may also request funding for internships of less than 320 hours—in that scenario you would request an amount based on the total number of hours times $16/hour.
